Who this resource is for

Project engineers and managers, engineering managers, maintenance and reliability teams, asset managers, finance and technical teams involved in handing over and closing out capital projects and equipment installations.

How to use this resource

1. Plan handover from the start of the project, not after commissioning. 2. Set up every new asset in the CMMS with criticality, PM tasks, spares and an owner before project support leaves. 3. Collect drawings, manuals, software backups and passwords, and make sure maintenance can actually reach them. 4. Close defects and warranty items, then check the benefits against the business case at 30, 60 and 90 days.
